Just a note – the special editions of Diamond Dust and the SE Demigods bundle are getting close! The trucking company has the shipment and are looking to arrange delivery. Once we have that, we can start packing them and shipping them.
I’m going to open the store right now and start organizing.

Is there any update on the very few copies of Diamond Dust special editions sold separately? I signed up for newsletters and have been watching the shop since before January and feel like I’ve missed it.
Unfortunately you did. I shared in newsletters and on social media but these days it’s hard to reach everyone.
I do have hardcovers in my shop, but they aren’t the special editions.
Thank you
I’m missing the Diamond Dust SE, and I want it so bad. 😔
Is that any left over stock? I need this like I need oxygen please
Sadly no. This has been out of stock for a few months now. 🙁
Any chance you’d consider doing another print run of the Diamond Dust special edition? I already own the matching Obsidian edition, and I know from the comments that quite a few other readers are in the same position. Since 3,500 copies of Obsidian were made but only 1,500 copies of Diamond Dust, that leaves a very large number of people who supported the first special edition without even having the possibility of completing the matching set. I completely understand expecting some drop-off for a second book, but making fewer than half as many copies seems to have created a frustrating situation for collectors who bought Obsidian in good faith hoping to eventually be able to complete the duology. I’d really love to see a reprint considered, especially since there clearly seems to still be demand for it that resellers who never even intended to keep the book are taking an advantage of.
Doing a print run is a risky venture. Doing one for a second book, when the first book needed Facebook advertising to sell, and went to strangers who often impulse-buy a complete unknown, is riskier still. To help with this risk, I did a long preorder. I emailed about the preorder multiple times. I posted it on social media. I made clear that this preorder would determine how many copies I bought of the second book, and also that they were the only ones guarenteed. And then I *still* added on to those copies (x3).
When I received those, I emailed the list multiple times for anyone who wanted a copy. I gave a heads-up when it would arrive. They didn’t all go immediately. There was a trickle at the end.
Now it is months and months later and people are looking for it. But these items have to sit in my garage, not in a warehouse out of the way. I simply can’t sit on inventory in the hopes the preorder turned out not to be indicative of overall demand, because then we can’t use our garage.
Sadly, no, a reprint won’t happen. It is still only a trickle of people requesting the second book, and you need an order of at least many hundreds, preferably thousands, for the per book price to make sense. It is more of a risk today than when I tripled the preorder numbers. Not to mention that print runs, storage, and shipping all take a significant amount of time. I have to take away from writing to do it, and right now I have a lot of books to get out. I don’t have the time.
