A paranormal romance series with a heavy dose of Greek mythology. This series focuses on a ghost whisperer with teen-aged adopted kids, and includes some of the trials of single parenthood. Heavy on humor and magic, the romance is slower to start but becomes a big part of the story by book two. Lots of sex, lots of banter, lots of emotions are at play.

The first three books are one complete story arc, but the larger arc is concluded by the end of the sixth book. A related series focusing on a side character is in the plans to be written, but hasn’t yet been started.

Magical characters are mainly spirits, shifters, and magic-workers.

Tired of heroines always being young and inexperienced in life, K.F. Breene and a group of other authors named and created the new subgenre of Paranormal Women’s Fiction in the winter of 2020. Leveling Up is K.F. Breene’s debut into PWF. Heavy on storyline, heavy on humor, heavy on friendship, this story features some really fun and different characters. The romance is very slow burn – so slow one starts to wonder if the two characters are ever going to hook-up (they do, eventually).

This is a beauty & the beast retelling, and it is not for the children. Yes, there is a beauty, a beast, an enchanted household, and a fabulous home library, but that is where the similarities end.

Through the course of this storyline, every sexual kink you didn’t even know existed, is explored. There is love, heartbreak, torture, battles, friendship, betrayal, and again, some of the hottest, dirtiest sex scenes you’ll ever read. Get your clutching-pearls ready when you read this one, as you’ll need them.

This world is urban fiction and weaves three seemingly separate-yet-connected heroines into one epic story. It is actually the third MC around whom the story originated but a vacation to New Orleans inspired the creation of the main heroine, Reagan Somerset, and the rest of the storyline blossomed from there.

You can see where we meet each new heroine, as the cover colors and title styles change. The final three books revert back to the cover color and title style of the beginning heroine, but the story heavily involves all three heroines and their main supporting characters. This series needs to be read in order as skipping one heroine’s story or another will leave the reader lost and confused in the final three books. Romance and sex are heavily featured.

This duet is science-fiction romance. The setting is a dystopian view of earth, but amidst the science and technology of this world we also see long-suppressed passion, humanity’s will to survive, and a revolt against the status-quo. No amount of science or technology can suppress humanity’s desire for love or sex, and mixed with K.F. Breene’s humor and surprising choice of supporting cast members create a story so robust you’ll forget it’s science fiction.

After the steam of Darkness, K.F. Breene went in a completely different direction with this action-adventure series. This is pure fantasy with a lot of world-building and battle scenes. This is the series that cemented what became K.F. Breene’s trademark humor and cast of supporting characters that are so full of camaraderie it is easy to forget they aren’t your actual real-life friends. The romance level is minimal, and while there are some sexual situations there are no explicit sex scenes.

Magical characters include mental magic-workers.

This was K.F. Breene’s first foray into paranormal romance. After writing three straight romance trilogies she wanted to try something new. Something more creative where the standard rules of society didn’t really apply. She has an affection for vampires and wanted to write her version of them – sexy, strong, and brutal – but also make them real with flaws, ambition, passion, and friendships.

This series features a young adult female protagonist and includes a lot of sex that pushes boundaries. There is nothing vanilla about this steam so toss your inhibitions aside before you turn the first page.
