Just to keep everyone up to speed on what I’m working on and what books are coming…
The first pass of audio narration for Magical Midlife 12 is completed. I have commissioned covers and will put up a preorder soon for that. I need to gauge when everything will be done before I choose a date, but expect that to come out within a couple to a few months. A cover reveal will come as soon as I have the covers for that.
Before the questions start – yes, I will have a cover for both the new and OG versions of the paperback.
The litRPG-lite, titled Core: The Learning Trials…or maybe Apple•Core, I can’t decide (Zelda meets Squid Games), is going to be put on a free-to-read site called Royal Road. I’ll put out two chapters a week until the book is finished. We’re getting that set up now and I’ll let you know when you can enjoy a new-to-me genre that I’ve made silly and absurd and action-packed, all at the same time.
Later today or tomorrow, depending no how long my to-dos take to finish, I’ll be starting MM13. I still have no idea how many books will be in this series, but I’m now looking toward an ending. Might be a few books, might be a bunch as I explore off-shoots, like Ivy House’s properties in Europe, but it won’t last forever.
I can’t work on the same project for too long or I get bored, so I will also throw in another secret project standalone to keep me fresh. That’s just a one-off, though. I’ll write that when I need a break from the other stuff.
But for right now, the two things I’ll be switching on and off with are Core and Magical Midlife. I have a lot of ideas that want to get told, but I need to get these out of the way before I start with new stuff or else I’ll sink.
I haven’t been online as much as I write, and that’ll probably continue for a while. I’m in a creative space right now and I want to stay here to get things done. Once my brain shifts, as it always does, I’ll then be social again. There’s no point in forcing these things.
Special Editions – they are printed, yay! I have about 80 books of Diamond Dust headed to the UK for Europe and Australia to get better shipping rates, and that and Demigods of San Francisco will be heading to me by the end of the week. It’s coming overseas, though, so it will be about a month and a half for it to reach me, then I have 1300 orders to pack and ship, which takes a second. But that’s the timeline. Shipping will go in order of preorder date.
I do have a couple Obsidian left over, and a few Diamond Dust. Very few of each, though, so follow my shop to see when it opens to get your copies of that.

I am currently listening to the entire MM series, for the 17th/18th time. Seriously, I have it on a loop and it just repeats. Occasionally, I listen to something else, but I always come back to it. I understand that it will end at some point, but a hope that point is far in the distance. I suspect I will continue to listen to this series for the rest of my life. It is the measure.

I’m with Tammy on this! MM is one of my “comfort reads” and a series that I repeatedly re-read (or rather, listen to via the audiobooks). This is a series that I adore, and makes me feel good whenever I immerse myself in its world. I can never get enough! Each time a new book comes out, I re-read the entire series to refresh the story so I can pick up immediately where the previous left off!

Me too😆 It’s my comfort story . I had to start over in my 30s so I can relate. I wish I had an Austin and Ivory house 🏠 I love this storyline of how Jessie breaks the cycle of her ex and Austin and the crew has her back. It’s funny exciting romantic and fierce 😄 😆 😍 It’s my happy place 🥰 I hope it shows how a diverse group of people come together to save the world 🌎
While I haven’t listened to MM that many times I do start it over every time before a new book comes out and whenever I need a pick me up. It is my absolute favorite series. I have occasionally read a book a second or third time but I have never read a series this many times.
I think I’ve messed up! I’m in the uk and held off pre ordering SE of Diamond Dust because I thought we were waiting to see about shipping? I have the previous SE’s for this linked series and don’t want to miss out on the last book! I’ve subscribed to the shop so fingers crossed that I get in there quick! 😬
There are 80 copies reserved there and only a handful of people from Europe/Aus put in orders, so just show up when the store opens and you should be fine. Those copies are blocked off.

I have listened to everything you have written so far and I have to say MM is my absolute favorite. I actually just started listening to it again this week I’m currently on book two already I think I have a problem LOL. I know you said it’s going to end but I really hope no time soon I love Jessie and the crew especially Niamh.

I’m thrilled that MM is not ending anytime soon. I truly love this series. My all time favorite is still the Demigod series. I doubt I will ever read anything I loved as much as it. If anything ever tops it, I’m sure it will come for your imagination.
Is there going to be a way for us to gift/ donate on the site? I feel like we should be able to support our favorite author even on those free type projects.
Can’t wait for more MM, I got to this wonderful world a little late and now it’s stolen my soul. Fred might be one of my spirit animals.

Love the MM series have all the audible ones love Nicole poole as narrator. This is the funniest action romantic supernatural series I’ve ever listened to. I have listened to the series at least 6 times or more and I always find something funny I missed. I wish they made thus into a TV series it would beat the original Charmed series hands down. Keep this coming please it always brings a smile to my heart in this world we live in.🥰
