Picture it: May, 2021. Author Lucy Score asks our very own Queen Breene to participate in Lucy’s Tell Me A Story campaign. The guest author – in this case K.F. Breene – posts a bunch of polls, and based on the poll results writes a story which is shared 24 hours later.
Lucy had been doing this for a little while, and her readers loved it.
And then?
And then came K.F. Breene. Queen of Fuckery to the Court of Misfits.
KFB wrote a short little story full of absurdities, insanity, and movie references, featuring a mime, a cursing parrot, and a female trucker FMC. Did I mention it is a tiny bit spicy as well? I don’t want to give it all away, but trust me when I say this is KFB GOLD.
We all loved it, of course. And begged her to write more. Every time the Leveling Up crew travels to a new place I have secretly hoped they would run into this truck stop group. I think even Edgar would be confused.
As for Lucy’s readers? They were definitely entertained.
I kind of felt bad for the authors who participated after KFB. No matter how hard anyone tries, no one does fun and funny like Queen Breene.

Hanging to read this series from start to finish to see what everyone is raving about. I have the series & heard ‘The truck stop’ references, but won’t start the the series till the end of year holidays. Bloody TBR’s they just keep growing. But my Majesty Queen Breene & Ms Shannon Mayer are slaying my back account. But at least it’s worthwhile bang for my buck fuckery & laughs!
