One year KFB decided to send holiday cards to her readers. There was a signup form that was shared far and wide, and 800 people signed up for a holiday card. I am not sure what kind of holiday card they were expecting but if you’ve ever watched a Live or met her in person, you know that K.F. Breene would never send a typical holiday card. Instead, she sent out a card featuring a viking snowman brandishing a sword. The year was 2017, and KFB was writing her third fantasy series – Demon Days, Vampire Nights – where swords were the weapon of choice for the FMCs.
That was the first card. We’ve been doing it ever since, and every year the card is inspired by or gives a nod to whatever book or series Queen Breene is publishing at the time. In the early days the references were broader, inspired by her catalog as a whole. But as her catalog got more varied the cards became more focused on specific KFB series.

If you join her facebook group, we post the signup link in January and it stays up through the end of December. There is a new signup every year.
