World Synopsis of the Shadowbound Fae/Demigods of San Francisco World
Shadowbound Fae is a spin-off from the Demigods of San Francisco series. It is written independently, but here is a brief character sketch to help you get to know some of the characters.
Characters:
Daisy – human girl rescued from the streets by Alexis
Alexis – Spirit Walker, guardian to Daisy and Mordecai. Granddaughter of Hades.
Mordecai, aka Mordy – wolf shifter raised by Alexis, and adopted sibling to Daisy
Kieran – Demigod of Poseidon, spouse to Alexis & stepfather to Daisy & Mordecai. Has an inner circle of six magical beings who are blood-sworn to him
Jack, Donovan, Boman, Zorn, Thane, Henry – Kieran’s “The Six”
Zorn – Djinn. One of Kieran’s Six who trained Daisy to be an assassin
Bria, Amber, Jerry, Dylan – magical beings who all work for Kieran. Amber, Jerry, and Dylan are blood-sworn to Kieran. Bria is not. These four, along with Kieran’s Six, are collectively referred to as “the crew.”
All magical beings get their magic from a Greek God. The type of magic one has depends on who their godly ancestor is.
Background:
Alexis raised Daisy and Mordecai in a small house in a very poor section of the dual-society zone of San Francisco (where both magical and non-magical people may live). They later moved to a wealthy section of the dual-society zone, directly across the street from where Kieran lived. Now Alexis and Kieran live in a posh section of magical San Francisco, and the rest of the crew continue to live in the two houses in the wealthy section of the dual-society zone. Some of the visions Daisy has take place in this house.
